The main access route to Caruaru, Gravatá and Bonito is the BR 232 Route. Petrolina has an international airport operating regularly domestic flights. It takes 1 hour from Recife International Airport.

Where to stay

Caruaru offers a range of hotels and Gravatá has excellent farm hotels. For the Passion of Christ’s spectacle, Brejo da Madre de Deus has a thematic hostel set in antiquity, the Pousada da Paixão. Petrolina, as a big city, also presents a good infrastructure, with many accommodation options.
