It takes less than an hour by car from the state capital, Recife. The access is by the BR 101 North Road to Igarassu, and a few more kilometres by PE 035 Road until Itamaracá Island. There taxis and also transfer options with some agencies located at the airport.

Where to stay

There is no accommodation at Coroa do Avião, but Itamaracá Island, Igarassu, and Maria Farinha Beach have resorts, hotels and inns.
