Visitors travelling by air will arrive at Recife International Airport Guararapes – Gilberto Freyre, which receives flights from almost every state capital in Brazil and from international destinations.  The airport is located 60 kilometres from Porto de Galinhas.  It will take an average of one hour by taxi. You can also take a bus from the airport to Porto de Galinhas, available from 6 am to 9 pm daily.
