Rio Grande do Norte
Rio Grande do Norte would became well-known internationally during World War II. Due to its significant proximity to Africa, Brazil let the United States build and keep two naval bases and an airbase here until the end of the war!
Despite being one of Brazil’s smallest states, it’s an incredibly large quantity of natural resources makes the State an economic investment. It is especially bountiful in marine salt, having the largest salt reserves in the country and a coastline 410 kilometres in length!

The State’s main airport is in Natal.
The state borders with: Paraiba (S); Ceará (W); Atlantic Ocean (NE)
Total area: 52,796,791 square kilometres
Population: 3.5 million (2020)

Praia da Pipa, São Miguel do Gostoso, Galinhos, and Praia de Genipabu.
