Diamantina is one of the most famous and historical cities in Brazil and is a riot of sights, sounds, tastes and experiences, from colonial and baroque architecture to secular churches and stunning scenery, and folk music that will touch the deepest part of the soul.
Centre of the diamond exploration in the eighteenth century from which it takes its name (diamond means “diamante” in Portuguese), Diamantina is the jewel in Brazil’s history.
