The Caminho Religioso da Estrada Real (CRER) or Royal Road Religious Way includes 37 districts on the Royal Road route.

The path can be started or ended in Serra da Piedade, at the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Piedade in Caeté, Patroness of Minas Gerais or the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora Aparecida, patroness of Brazil, in Aparecida do Norte, São Paulo State.

• 840 kilometres long with a journey time of approximately 40 days
• Can be travelled on foot, bicycle or horseback
